Expert Tips

Have the kids help by sprinkling the chili with shredded Cheddar cheese or fish-shaped crackers.

The next time you make this super-quick soup, try adding a can of whole kernel corn, drained, with the beans.

I just made this chili. All I had was pinto beans so I use them. It turned out delicious! Everyone else must have thought so too since the pan was all but licked clean. :-)

I have always used a similar recipe...Not sure how much of each but I use chili beans, ground beef, onion powder, tomato juice and chili seasoning. I usually add some elbow macaroni. I let the kids and my husband add crackers or cheese if they wish. The kids like to dip peanut butter sandwiches in the chili.
