Expert Tips

Have an ice-scream! Serve up this fun dessert at your next get-together and include other ice-cream toppings such as chopped nuts, crushed cookies, candy sprinkles and maraschino cherries.

Rise to the occasion! If using self-rising flour, there is no need to add baking powder and salt.

Wow, I was amazed by this recipe!!! Although it's not something I would serve a diabetic (lots of sugar!!), it really is a delicious dessert with little effort. Really impressive, and only the pan to wash - no mixer bowls, etc. etc. Will definitely make it again!

Instead of baking this in the over, follow the procedure exactly then pop it in the microwave for 8-10 minutes! So good!
