Ingredients

can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated)
1
bag (12 oz) semisweet chocolate chips (2 cups)
1
oz unsweetened baking chocolate
1
teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2
cups chopped nuts

  • 1 Grease 8-inch square baking dish with butter.
  • 2 In 2-quart microwavable bowl, stir condensed milk and chocolate chips; add baking chocolate. Microwave uncovered on High 1 minute; stir. Microwave about 2 minutes longer or until chocolate is melted and mixture can be stirred smooth.
  • 3 Stir in vanilla and nuts. Spread mixture evenly in baking dish. Refrigerate until firm. For 64 (1-inch) squares, cut into 8 rows by 8 rows.

Expert Tips

Line the buttered baking dish with cooking parchment paper overhanging two sides of the baking dish for easy removal.

A large chef’s knife will make easy work of cutting cleanly through the nut inclusions.

Use candy papers or condiment cups for a pretty presentation.
