Ingredients

Steps

  • 1
Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 14-inch pizza pan with cooking spray.
  • 2
In medium bowl, stir cookie mix, butter and egg until soft dough forms. Press dough evenly in bottom of pan. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until light golden brown and center is baked through. Cool completely, about 45 minutes.
  • 3
In small bowl, mix frosting and orange food color to desired orange color. Spread tinted frosting onto cooled cookie, all the way to edge. Immediately sprinkle with candy sprinkles; cut into 16 triangle-shaped pieces, wiping blade of knife between cuts.
  • 4
Carefully remove pieces from pan to serving platter. Using photo as a guide, add cut candy to look like carrot tops.

Tips from the Betty Crocker Kitchens

  • tip 1
For cleaner cuts, refrigerate cookie pizza for an hour or so before cutting into pieces. Cookie slices may need to stand at room temperature a few minutes before attaching candy carrot tops to frosting.
  • tip 2
Green licorice or edible Easter grass are great substitutes for the sour candy straws in this recipe.
