Ingredients

1
box (11 oz) vanilla wafers
1
cup chopped nuts (pecans, walnuts, hazelnuts and/or almonds)
3/4
cup powdered sugar
2
tablespoons unsweetened baking cocoa
1/2
cup brandy
2 1/2
tablespoons light corn syrup
Additional powdered sugar or unsweetened baking cocoa

Directions

  • 1 In food processor, process vanilla wafers into fine crumbs. Pour crumbs into large bowl. Add nuts, 3/4 cup powdered sugar and 2 tablespoons cocoa; stir to combine.
  • 2 In small bowl, stir together brandy and corn syrup until well combined. Add to dry mixture; stir until dough-like mixture forms.
  • 3 Roll mixture into 1-inch balls. Roll each ball in additional powdered sugar. If desired, place each in mini paper baking cup. Store in airtight container up to 2 weeks.

Expert Tips

Roll balls in candy sprinkles or coarse sanding sugar instead of powdered sugar or cocoa.

Package brandy balls to give away to family and friends as gifts, or serve in martini or shot glasses at a holiday party.
