Prep Instructions

for Pancakes: 1 1/3 Cups Water or Milk
for Whipped Topping: 1 Tablespoon Water
1. HEAT skillet over medium-high heat or griddle to 375°F.
2. STIR Pancake Mix and water or milk with fork or wire whisk in medium bowl until well blended.
3. MAKE one layer at a time on hot greased griddle. Make 4 pancakes using 1/4 cup of batter. Cook until edges are dry; about 1 minute 30 seconds. Turn; cook 1 minute 30 seconds. Make next 4 pancakes using 2 tablespoonfuls of batter; cook as directed. Use 1 tablespoon batter for next 4 pancakes; cook as directed. Make last 4 pancakes using 2 teaspoons batter.
Keep pancakes warm by placing them uncovered in a single layer on cookie sheet in a 200°F oven.
4. STIR Whipped Topping and water in small bowl for 1 minute or until topping is thick.
5. STACK starting with largest pancakes on bottom, stack each smaller pancake on top. Top with topping.
Betty’s Tip: PUNCH out stars. Tape a toothpick to each star and top each pancake tree.
REMOVE toothpick and star before eating pancakes.
