I'm looking forward to trying this. I wonder about the serving size, though. Based on the ingredients, this recipe could easily yield 6 to 8 side-dish servings. If you have made this, did you have a lot left over?

So delicious -- and a huge hit in my house! I sprinkled chopped bacon over the finished product, too, and it was wonderful. A great twist on boring ol' green beans and it reheated well, too.

This is extremely similar to a Dutch dish which translates into "Naked Ladies in the Forest." I told my children this name and they loved to eat the trees and ladies! Great dish! I actually used canned green beans (all I had on hand) and it was still great.
