I finally made this dessert, it was good, but super sweet. I to had trouble cutting into bars, but will make again only the next time I will roll out the cookie dough between 2 sheets of waxed paper, the lay into pan and also cut back on the sugar, may even try making a graham cracker crust, but other than that very good.

This is definitely a GREAT dessert especially if you love strawberries and cream already! It was simple and delicious albeit time consuming- but only because it requires that you cool different components before putting them together. Definitely worth the time though. The sugar cookie bottom layer is difficult to cut through but only when it's cool from being kept in the refrigerator. At room temp it is easy to cut through. I will be making this recipe again for sure!

Fantastic, everyone loved it. If making it in a 9 x 13 pan, only use half of the cookie dough as the crust. I used it all as the crust and we needed a chain saw to get through!! Next time I will know better. And I WILL make it again. Delicious.

I made this yet again and this time I added just a touch of orange extract to the white chocolate mixture and it added the perfect bit of "Spring" to this absolutely fabulous dessert!

Brought to Easter gathering and received rave reviews. I skipped the white chips and added whipped cream instead. I used parchment paper to line the pan and it came out very easily. Also used parchment paper to press the cookie dough into the pan - everything else I tried just didn't work because of the stickiness.

Just delicious! Like many other reviewers, I made this as an Easter dessert to bring to a family gathering, and it was big hit for all ages. The cookie bottom makes it clean & easy to eat, because you can just pick up the squares and go. Some minor changes made: I added fresh blackberries to the topping since they were in season, used Neufchatel cheese instead of cream cheese, and added just a pinch more cornstarch to thicken up the glaze. Next time I plan to use a cookie sheet instead of the 13x9 pan. The dessert is pretty rich, and a thinner cookie bottom would help lighten it up. Overall great recipe though, it's a keeper!
