God Bless you! For a moist and tender turkey, you should put on the bottom of your crockpot (it depends on the pounds of your turkey): 1/2 c. of chicken both, 1/2 c. marsala wine, butter cut into pieces, sliced onions, smashed garlic, mushrooms, 2 to 3 bay leaves. Season your turkey as desired. Place your turkey and at the top add some butter cut into pieces, more sliced onions and smashed garlic. Pour a little bit of the wine and of the chicken broth. I usually checked a couple of times the turkey or any meat I used and I bath it a bit from time to time. For good potatoes and carrots, they should be added after 5 hrs. when the turkey is still cooking. It has given me the best results! Praise the Lord for all this that He has led me to do! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! I praise You my Lord, I praise You my God, I praise You my precious Father, I praise You my dearest Friend, I praise You my All in all! All the talents are Yours! All, all, all is by Your amazing grace and mercy! Amen and amen!

I made this (against my better judgement). I just dont think you can make or should make turket in a slow cooker. It's best made oven roasted and basted. It came out OK but was dry. The best part of it was the cooked carrots and potatoes (which I added onion and celery to).

I made this today, and used 2 2.5 pound boneless turkey breasts and a jar of turkey gravy to mix with the vegetables because I couldn't find a bone in turkey breast that was the size the recipe called for. It was very good. The vegetables were cooked just right and the turkey was moist and juicy and did not fall apart. My husband had 3 servings and said he loved it!
