EXPERT TIPS

Expert Tips

(Total time will vary; cook or bake time is per batch.)

Looking much like a banana, the plantain is sometimes referred to as a “cooking banana.” This large, firm fruit is perfect for slicing and frying.

Look for plantains near the bananas in the produce section of your favorite supermarket.
