How to Store Lucious Layers Bars

To keep your Luscious Layer Bars fresh and delicious follow the below tips.

Room Temperature

Store the cooled bars in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days. Make sure they are completely cool before placing them in the container to prevent condensation, which can make them soggy.

Refrigerator

Store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. The texture might become a bit firmer when chilled, but they're still delicious!

Freezing 

These bars freeze beautifully! Once completely cooled, cut them into individual servings. You can then wrap each bar tightly in plastic wrap and place them in a freezer-safe airtight container or freezer bag. They will stay fresh in the freezer for up to 3 months. Remove the desired number of bars from the freezer and let them thaw at room temperature for about 30-60 minutes, or in the refrigerator overnight, before serving.

    Heat oven to 350°F. Spray the bottom of a 13x9-inch baking pan with cooking spray.

    In a large bowl, stir cookie mix, butter, and egg until a soft dough forms.

    Press the dough into the pan using floured fingers.

    Bake for 15 minutes. Sprinkle with butterscotch chips, chocolate chips, coconut, and walnuts. Drizzle evenly with condensed milk.

    Bake an additional 30 to 35 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool completely, about 2 hours. For 36 bars, cut into 9 rows by 4 rows.
