Ingredients

1: cup cornstarch

1/2: cup cold water

2: tablespoons dish soap

1/2: cup hot water

: Red, yellow, green and blue food color

Directions

1 In medium bowl, stir together cornstarch, cold water and dish soap. Add hot water; beat with electric mixer on medium speed until mixture is creamy.
2 Divide mixture among 4 small plastic containers. Drop several drops of red food color into 1 container; stir until well mixed. Repeat with remaining food colors and containers. Store covered at room temperature. Use for finger painting on paper or canvas.

We have made this recipe for finger paints several times over the years at my home daycare. The kids loved "helping", so easy to clean up. My daughter also used this for her demonstration in the 2nd grade, went over great with her class!
