I doubled the recipe AND used an 8x8 pan. It took awhile to cook (about 40 minutes) but they were delicious and chewy. I added cream cheese frosting and sprinkles, too...I am pregnant, after all ;)

I have made these twice now. First time I was very disappointed. I found the butter to be completely unnecessary and in the end it was all I could taste. The recipe is also far too small. I suggest the following changes.. 1 cup sugar 1 cup brown sugar 2 eggs 2 egg yolks 2 tsp vanilla extract 3/4 cup baking cocoa 1 cup all purpose flour 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp baking powder I also add a bunch of mini chocolate chips for extra gooeyness.. but that’s up to you. Follow these changes and bake in a 9x9 square pan and you’ll be all set. =) ENJOY!

The brownies are in the oven.. I added 1/2 cup of peanut butter, and they smell amazing!!! I used a small pan because I like my brownies thick. I can't wait to try them! :)

These brownies are in the oven right now...so I'm not so sure how they will turn out, but I do know that the batter tastes good! :) I would definitely recommend double-ing the recipe; I ended up having to bake this in a square pan instead of a 9x13 inch. Other than that, so far, so good! :)
