I made this Banana Nut Quick Bread a couple of weeks ago. I used 2 bananas instead of 1. My husband was very impressed, asking me to make this often! I only have one small complaint. The box that I bought this time, didn't have the recipe on it like the last one did. Thankfully I was able to find it on this website!! I have now copied it down, so I will have it forever!! Thanks Betty Crocker for a very easy recipe that makes such a wonderful tasting banana nut bread!

Like this mix for a picky kid that likes banana nut BREAD/not muffins! I always add 1 banana. Odd that the package says quick bread but no baking instructions/had to go online 375 and about 45 minutes/please add instructions to your box.

Bread recipe is missing from box with breast cancer plug. I Mash one med banana and toss in a handful of chopped walnuts. I think high altitude directions is you bake loaf at 400 degrees for about 40 minutes. At least that was what I remember from the last time I made it. Hope this is right. Bread is great and easy to make but you only get 3 spoon rating becuse bread recipe and time and temp are missing from the box.

went to make this boxed recipe and found no instructions for the bread style. Why would you call it Banana Nut Premium Muffins and Quick Bread, and then not give the bread recipe?

I added one ripe banana and about 1/4 cup additional chopped walnuts to the recipe, as others had suggested. This is a keeper, and could NOT be easier! Thanks, Betty!

I second that comenmt, Sherry! What a blessing to have you think about trying the recipes. I love a bunch of Sherry's recipes too and certainly get spiritually inspired by her writing as well.

This mix makes a very good loaf of banana bread. I love lots of walnuts, so I always add an extra 1/4 cup to the mix. Very glad to find this recipe online. Although the box clearly states it is a "Premium Muffin & Quick Bread Mix", there are no instructions on the box for making a loaf of quick bread. Several muffin variations but nothing about time and oven temperature for bread?
