I did not add the ground mustard or the cornflakes topping & I covered it for the last 1/2 so that it wouldn't get dry. I also added salt. It was "DELICIOUS"!!! Will definitely make this again.

The onions should have been sweated prior to adding to the potatoes to keep from overpowering dish. Even though I used thin asparagus, still a little too crunchy after cooking.

I made this for Easter & it was good, but a little dry...maybe adding a can of Cream of Asparagus soup would have made it better.

I made this for the first time today for Easter brunch. It was so easy and used items I already had on hand. I hadn't read the directions that said to make ahead at least eight hours, so mine only rested about a half and hour before I put it in the oven and it still came out just fine. It took about ten minutes longer than stated. I will make this often!!!

Delicious! We have been eating variations of this recipe for years, and it is delicious. Small children might not be thrilled about the asparagus, so you might want to substitute something else.
