Delicious Dips for Green Giant Veggie Chips

They say good things come in pairs, and these yummy dip-and-chip combos are no exception.

Delicious Dips for Green Giant Veggie Chips
Have you guys tried the new chips Green Giant has just come out with? My family is obsessed with them! And since they’re on the better-for-you side of the snack scale, I thought it’d be fun to create dips that are perfectly paired to each flavor.

First up, we have a blue cheese and white bean dip to pair with the Zesty Cheddar Veggie Tortilla Chips. Made simply in the food processor with a can of rinsed and drained white beans, some blue cheese, garlic, Parmesan, thyme and other seasonings, this dip has a wonderfully complex flavor, and is (almost) as addictive as these chips are.

I had Multigrain Sea Salt Sweet Potato Chips on my mind when I made up this homemade queso. Unlike the ubiquitous artificial quesos out there, this sauce starts with real cheese, green chiles, fresh tomatoes, green onions and cilantro. Combined with the sweet-salty chips, it’s a tasty appetizer or snack that everyone will love. Queso
Third up we have a creamy, cool avocado-lime ranch dip that’s so easy to put together, it’s borderline dangerous. Start with a ripe avocado and sour cream, then add creamy mayonnaise, garlic, lots of fresh lime juice and cilantro. Then pulse together in the food processor or blender until it’s creamy. (To lighten up this recipe, replace the mayonnaise with plain Greek yogurt.) This tangy dip pairs wonderfully with Green Giant’s new Barbecue Multigrain Sweet Potato Chips. Avocado Ranch Dip
Saving the best for last, I present my family’s new favorite dip, a creamy barbecue-bacon flavor explosion that goes wonderfully with Green Giant’s Garden Ranch Roasted Veggie Tortilla Chips. To make it, start by crisping up a few slices of bacon, then add some cream cheese, shredded cheese, BBQ sauce and bacon to your food processor. Turn the processor on high and blend ‘til creamy. Garnish the dip with some crumbled bacon and fresh scallions before serving for an extra-pretty touch. (To save on calories in this recipe, feel free to use turkey bacon and reduced-fat cream cheese.) Creamy BBQ Bacon Cheese Dip
Do you have go-to dips for your favorite chips? If so, I’d love to hear what combinations make your plate!
