There’s a new trend emerging in cocktails that I am thrilled to share with you today. It’s breakfast-flavored cocktails! These adult beverages are so much fun to offer at brunches or anytime when you want a sweet dessert drink. They are super simple to assemble, too.

To make a French Toast Martini, start by placing about 2 cups of ice in a martini shaker.

Add a shot of Irish cream liqueur... french-toast-martini-2
a shot of sweet butterscotch schnapps... french-toast-martini-5
and a shot of cinnamon schnapps. (The cinnamon liqueur is what makes the martini taste like rich cinnamon French toast.) french-toast-martini-7
Put the lid on your shaker, and give it a good shake. french-toast-martini-9
Rim the martini glass with brown sugar. The easiest way to do this is to first dip the martini glass in water. (You can also use corn syrup.) french-toast-martini-10
Dip the glass in brown sugar until the rim is evenly coated. french-toast-martini-11
Now you have a wonderful sugar-rimmed martini glass! french-toast-martini-12
Strain the martini into the glass. french-toast-martini-14
There you have it...an amazing French Toast Martini for brunch or dessert! French Toast Martini
