sub asugar w./applesauce 1 cup and cut the oil in half and add honey 2 tblspns, Even more moist and has a sweeter taste. no no honey for kids sugar in side use powder'd outside with honey for adults and teens heathier, Add nuts ground into the flour du the applesauce makes the sugars natural and adds moisture to the batter and the honey adds a another sugar taste with the best of nature can add sweetness and powderd sugar the outside for even more sweet taste without all the calories of fully incorp sugar in the mix. the nut groundt into the flour adds to the nutty flavor when baked. Tip if you use the nuts ground in to the flour you need to add back some of the oil to them add back a half cup. Well worth the lost calories for the added taste but its more fattining
