I made it as printed and upon tasting it, found it very blah. So I added a can of cream of chicken soup, a cup of cut up left over chicken, 3/4 cup of frozen mixed vegetables, and about 4-6 oz. of cheddar cheese. Wow, my husband called this "pot-pie soup." It is really good with hot rolls!! I also used brown rice to make it more healthy, and you have to cook the vegies a lot longer than 4 minutes to get them tender! just keep adding water and cover while simmering and while cooking the rice.
