The cheesecake didn't really "swirl" for me, so much as form a top layer, so I would recommend pouring half the brownie batter in, then half the cheesecake swirl, then repeat.
Overall, this was way more trouble than it was worth, in my opinion. It tastes exactly the same as a box of ready-made cheesecake brownies would, with salted caramel topping. If I want to repeat this recipe, I'll just go that route next time.
