Made this a couple years back. It was runny and the taste was blan. I would prefer to use actual potatoes over the buds.

Oh, come on!! They are INSTANT!!! If you are going to take the time to do them in the crockpot - boil the potatoes (they are cheap!) Or buy Bob Evans brand premade mashed potatoes at the grocery store (they're good!) - But dont waste you're time & money on this recipe to make INSTANT POTATOES!!!

Potatoes and cheese(s) GREAT THOUGHT! But WHY waste the time and use of an eligible crockpot for INSTANT POTATOES??? Also, this receipe takes 1:45hr for something that you can do stovetop or microwave in 10 min or less?????

I made these for a family gathering, and everyone, including me loved them. I hate instant mashed potatoes, but these were very good and easy. I will make them again!!!!!

This recipe is AMAZING. I went to culinary school and this is the first thanksgiving cooking on my own and everyone swore they were real potatoes that i mashed with a hand masher and they couldnt belive they were instant untill i showed them the box and recipe. Thank you so much for making this awesome recipe. also, my 13mo old loves them too!
