Cereal is the sweet surprise in a dreamy dessert with fat-free yogurt and strawberries.

I made this almost exactly as written. I substituted sugar-free Jello for the regular Jello. I made the crust exactly as written. The crust was different but fine. The filling was good too. I will make this one again.

Make sure to purchase the WILD strawberry jello. (more flavor, I think) This would be great in a chocolate cookie crust. Brush the crust with some egg white and bake for about 5-7 minutes. This will help keep the filling from softening the crust. Cherry jello (fold in some thawed, drained, frozen cherries)with a chocolate crust would be nice too. Orange jello (fold in some drained mandarin oranges/chocolate crust.

I, too, didn't like the Kix idea, but decided to take a totally different twist. Made the strawberry-jello-yogurt and layered it in 8 parfait glasses with some vanilla-almond granola. Then topped at the end with whipped cream. We really liked it that way.

I did not like this dessert. It was very sweet and the texture of the yogurt and Jell-O part was weird. Perhaps some whipped topping and a different base would make it better.

Wasn't as good as it looks. Way to many cracker crumbs used in the recipe. I think the next time I make this, I will try it as a pie and use a boughten graham cracker pie crust.

I made this with modifications due to my dairy allergies and dislike of the "corny" flavored Kix cereal. I replaced the yogurt with Strawberry flavored Silk Soy Yogurt and used slices of Angel Food Cake for the crust ~ DELICIOUS!!!

The cereal bottom doesn't sound good at all. I would use either a freshly made graham cracker crust or a crust made same way but with pecan sandy cookies. Love yoplait yogurt, gelatin and the cookies so this dessert can't go wrong.

Sounds good but I wonder what it would be like with a sugar cookie crust? Any ideas?
