This was one of the first cookie recipes I made as a pre-teen and it continues to be an all-time favorite. Now living in the UK, I often host dinner parties or have my teenage daughter's friends over. These wow 'em today just as much as they did when I was a kid. As an alternate, I make them in a Yorkshire Pudding tray & serve them with whipped cream &/or a good Vanilla ice cream.
