Why did you change the recipe? The recipe with the same name and picture that appears in the betty crocker 2007 calendar was fabulous! And it had less fat!

I made this cake for our Birthday Club at work and it was a HIT! Easy to make and delicious. I think I will try one cup of powdered sugar in the icing next time. Try this recipe - you won't regret it!!!

I have made this cake for years. In fact I made it yesterday for Fathers Day. Everyone loves it. I plan to make it for a Forth of July bridge party. It is easy to make.

This has become a staple in our home and requested often for birthdays! I love it as cupcakes and a layer cake is beautiful as well. We have even made the frosting for dipping fresh fruit at parties. It is so light and delicious! LOTS of compliments everywhere I take this, and it is so easy! You will always find a box of white cake mix and strawberry jello in my house! Thanks, Betty!

This cake was awesome in every way. I used 2 9 inch cake pans to make a 2 layered cake instead fo the rectangular cake for my daughters bday and it turned out great. It was very moist, and I put real strawberries in between the layers. The frosting was PERFECT!!! not runny at all-I did add more cream cheese though 4 oz instead of 2..this helped, the key to the frosting is you have to mix it with the freezer door open. a "cold" bowl or chilled bowl just wont do, the frosting wont harden up and stiffen this way and you will be more than likely disappointed with the results. anyways, I got rave reviews about the flavor and the frosting! Try it out!
