  • 1 Heat oven to 350°F. Line 9-inch square pan with foil so foil extends about 2 inches over sides of pan. Spray foil with cooking spray. Make and bake brownies as directed on box. Cool completely, about 1 1/2 hours.
  • 2 Remove brownies from pan by lifting foil; peel foil from sides of brownies. Using 2 1/2-inch star-shaped cookie cutter, cut brownies. Place frosting in resealable food-storage plastic bag; seal bag. Cut off one bottom corner of bag. Pipe frosting on star-shaped brownies. Sprinkle with decors.

I just made these and I think they turned out GREAT! They did take a while to make because I made two boxes. If I had put the scraps of leftover brownies together, it would have made more. I just didn't have time. I did spray the cookie cutter and it worked for me better than not spraying it.

Love these. I took them last year to a 4th of July party and my nieces and nephews, heck even the grown ups loved them. Very easy to make. I did not have a problem cutting them out with a star cookie cutter. I took the scraps of brownie and gave them to my sisters and brothers so they did not go to waste. Can't wait to make them again this year. Everyone is asking for them. :)

There should also be a rating for difficulty.
