box Betty Crocker® Suddenly Salad® ranch & bacon pasta salad mix

cup Green Giant® frozen corn
1/4
cup mayonnaise
1/4
cup barbecue sauce
2
cups shredded rotisserie chicken
1
cup cherry or grape tomatoes, halved

butter lettuce leaves
4
medium green onions, chopped (1/4 cup)
  • 1 Empty Pasta mix into 3-quart saucepan 2/3 full of boiling water. Gently boil uncovered 12 minutes, stirring occasionally, adding corn during last 2 minutes of cooking.
  • 2 Drain pasta and corn; rinse with cold water. Shake to drain well.
  • 3 In large bowl, stir together Seasoning mix, mayonnaise and barbecue sauce. Stir in pasta, corn, chicken and tomatoes. Line serving plate with lettuce leaves. Top with salad mixture; sprinkle with green onions. Serve immediately, or cover and refrigerate 1 hour to chill.

    I used my favorite bbq sauce but it didn't help this recipe. The fake bacon taste was just too much. I tried to eat some the next day at work and could not finish it. I think making this from scratch would be much better than using suddenly salad.

    We LOVED it!! The barbecue/mayonnaise combination is just right. Loved the addition of the corn. I didn't have green onions so I used fresh chives. Delicious!! Maybe will add an extra 1/2 cup of corn next time. Other than that . . . No changes needed.
