With just 20 minutes in the morning, you can assemble Swiss steak ingredients and have it going in the slow cooker.

I won't be making this again. It looks better than it tastes.

I thought this was a decent and solid dish, but it NEEDS the noodles or potatoes, not as something that is optional. I used a pepper steak cut and the meat just fell apart - it was that good. When we ate leftovers, I made some egg noodles, but definitely will be trying over potatoes if I make it again.

This is a keeper! It is so easy to prep and it turned out so yummy. I made noodles and spooned the Swiss Steak & gravy over them as in the picture! When I try a new recipe I as my family if it is a "keep" or "delete". Everyone said "Keep"!

this was so easy to do, had everything on hand. It was a cold, rainey day in western NY, & the smell alone, when I walked into the house said WELCOME. This, as my husband said, is a keeper!!

Awesome. I used regular cream of mushroom and cut it w/ the juice from the canned mushrooms. GREAT flavor!! :)

Made this last Sunday. My husband absolutely loved it and said I could make it as often as I want...and he's a picky eater. The only change I made was that I added plenty of sale, pepper, and garlic powder to the steak and then browned it in a skillet for a few minutes before putting in the crock pot. I also had a package of fresh mushrooms on hand so I used them instead of the canned. Came out sooooo tender and was ready in about 7 hrs. This will definitely be a regular in our house!

I made this yesterday and it is great - will make it again soon. I sprinkled the meat with meat tenderizer before I put it the slow cooker and the meat was nice and tender. I also added about 1/2 cup of water to the soup and tomato sauce. This ias a great recipe.

This was a great recipe. My husband and I loved it. We had it with mash potatoes and a good salad. It was a wonderful meal. I had to cook in a 6 quart crock pot as that is what I have...and it cooked really fast at the 10 hour setting. Not sure if this is due to the bigger crock pot??? but it was definitely ready at 8 hours and I turned it to the warm setting for the rest of the time until ready to serve.
