Easy!!! Great recipe!!! The meat was very tender; however, my gravy came out a little off. Yet it was still quite tasty. This recipe was a nice change from my usual pot roast and I will definitely make it again as my family enjoyed.

I am giving this recipe a go for dinner tonight. I already have 2 issues with it though. 1) It calls for green pepper, but it never says when to use it, nor does it look like there is any in the photo. 2) Do I use all the sour cream in the sauce or reserve some of it for garnish later? I opted not to use the green pepper and will probably use all sour cream in sauce.

I think you got the wrong Chili sauce. It’s with the ketchup by Heinz or Hunts can’t remember which. Just “chili sauce”, in a 12 oz jar. Usually used for the appetizer, crock pot meatball type recipe. You should probably use it and use your normal “hot” sauce to taste after cooking. I haven’t tried the recipe yet but I’ve saved it in my “try this” section.

This recipe has great potential. Simple to make. We however, bought the "HOT Chili Sauce". "HOT" is actually in caps on the bottle. I generally like VERY spicy food but this was over the top. Not the hottest thing I have ever eaten but the hottest thing I have ever made. I would rank it hotter than "Indian Hot" and about in line with "Thai Hot". Be aware when buying the ingredients! I will probably try again and dial it down a bit.
