My husband loves this. It freezes really well so I keep one serving size containers in the freezer. They come in handy for nights I want something he won't eat (ie fish) or when I will be away for the evening. Cooking doesn't get much easier than this recipe.

this was easy, my picky hubby loved it, went for seconds. I used original baked beans and added bbq sauce. Yummy!

This was delicious. And even for a slow cooker meal, this was super simple and fast. I didn't have a problem finding the barbecue beans; I just got Bush's Grilling Beans in the barbecue flavor. The can was big, but it wasn't 28 oz., so I also got the smallest can of baked beans to put in as well.

Ever since first trying this recipe, we've added our own flair to it, so delicious, try it with frozen kernel corn, mushrooms, and different flavor and kinds of beans. Tonight we added, Busch's Texas Ranchero variety, so good, and spicy!!! I've tried about three different kinds and love 'em all! We've even taken our crock pot camping and made this, so easy!!!!

I have always had a partiality for anything with the flavor of barbecue, but this recipe outdoes them all. Not being able to find barbecue beans, I just poured the barbbecue sauce on the beans in the cooker. I will be enjoying this recipe over and over again! Great dinner!

My husband and I love this. I've shared it before and everyone compliments it. It's super easy to make. I usually get a bag of frozen chopped onion to keep on hand and use that. My only problem the last year or so is that I can't find barbecue beans! The ones I used to get all the time are not out anymore apparently.

I have made this twice and it is excellent. I too added carrots and it made it even better. I made a loaf of homemade oatmeal bread to go with it.

I served this for the kidCrew at my church yesterday, and it got rave reviews!!! I did add baby carrots like some other cooks suggested, and I also used the brown sugar baked beans and added in bbq sauce. It was a thick, rich, hearty stew. Great for a cold winter day!! Thanks for this recipe, I will make it again...BUT.. I might call it something else, because some people associated it with the Dallas Cowboys, and well, I live in Pennsylvania... need I say more?? :)
