Wow! What an amazingly delicious meal! I skipped the bamboo shoots and peas, adding diced spanish onions so it was more along the lines of chicken noodle soup. My kids (5 and 9 yo) and husband LOVED it! Perfect meal for football practice evenings. Simmer all day, get home from work, add noodles - kick crock pot to high temp, go go to practice - wonderful meal greets us when we get back. Try it with garlic bread ;) Trust me, it's good.
