Bacon and baked beans come together in this slow cooked side dish that’s sweet and sour.

Ingredients

cans (28 oz each) baked beans, drained

slices bacon, crisply cooked, crumbled (1/2 cup)

large sweet onion, chopped (1 1/2 cups)

cup packed brown sugar
1/2
cup ketchup

tablespoons Dijon mustard

tablespoon cider vinegar

teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

Directions

  • 1 Spray 5- to 6-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. In slow cooker, mix all ingredients.
  • 2 Cover; cook on Low heat setting 4 hours.

Expert Tips

For even quicker prep time, use 1/2 cup cooked real bacon pieces (from a jar or package) instead of cooking and crumbling strips of bacon.
