This was so good and the hubby loved it too. He doesn't eat leftovers but he ate this! Any of the Au Gratin or Scalloped potatoes work. I mixed 1 box of creamy cheddar and 1 box original. Definatley making again. I added some chopped onions, didnt use green onions.

This dish was a hit with my family, but I think it would be better made with ground chicken or turkey. The sausage was a little greasy, and a bit salty. It reminded me of a breakfast side dish!! Great paired with scrambled eggs!!

Took this dish to a tailgate party - it was gone in 60 seconds! A little salty for my taste, but everyone else loved it and asked for the recipe.

Definitely an easy and cost-effective meal to whip up during the work week. It was a little greasy due to the sausage, be sure to drain the meat well with paper towels. I would probably make this again.

I have made this a couple of times with different kinds of meat. I'm not to fond of Italian sausage so I made it the second time with turkey kielbasa instead to cut down on some of the fat. That was my favorite. Top it off with some grated cheddar and its delicious

Just finished this for dinner. Not too bad. It is pretty salty, I never add salt to my cooking, before or after. It was a pretty good meal though. Of course, I find out that my husband doesn't like italian sausage AFTER he sits down at the table. So I will give this recipe one more shot...but I'll replace the italian sausage with either elk, deer or beef meat. I also thought about cubing some ham chunks and mixing it in instead.

Wasn't bad. But it was too salty. Wasn't sure about how watery it was looking for a little while. Did add a little bit of shredded cheddar to the top.

I was really unsure of how this would turn out when I first put it in the oven because it looked like a watery mess. It was actually pretty good but WAY too salty for the taste of my husband and me.
