This cake sounds fantastic, and I can't wait to try it, but I do have a question before I begin. The recipe instructions do not mention adding the 2/3 cup milk?? Is the 2/3 cup milk a mistake in the ingredient list, or was the mistake in not mentioning the milk in the instructions?

I made these for my daughter's birthday party in regular cupcake pans. The recipe made enough for 30 cupcakes and I had left over frosting (and was generous with it.) The cupcakes themselves were not very root beer flavored. The frosting, however, is fabulous! I give this a 4 star rating because they were very time consuming, especially the beating the frosting over low heat.

These are super yummy and easy to make despite the amount of time it takes to make them. They taste just like a root beer float. I did end up with twice the amount of frosting then what I actually used but I didn't put a lot of frosting on them.
