I made this tonight for my family. An apple and a cherry. The only thing I would change for the apple would be to add more vanilla extract and cinnamon. But other than that they loved it...

I didn't have any pie filling, but I had a can of blueberries, so I added sugar and cornstarch to the blueberries heated them on the stove til the cornstarch was all blended. Then put it in the oven for about 8 minutes and dropped the bisquick on top. I did add a little vanilla to the bisquick.

This is the same one my Grandmother would use to make a fast cobbler out of her canned peaches.

This really turned out great! I had canned some peach pie filling recently and 2 of the jars didn't seal right, so I made a peach pie, and then this peach cobbler recipe. Fantastic! Here are the changes I made after reading some of the reviews: 3/4 cup milk, 3 tablespoons sugar. I also added 1 tsp cinnamon and 1 tsp almond extract to the topping, mixed it all up and spread it over the peach pie filling. After it was done I brushed the top with a little melted butter and sprinkled it with a little sugar. My family LOVED it!

this is a great quick foolproof recipe! used 1 can of no-sugar-added apple pie filling, mixed in some cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, and a pinch of brown sugar. heated as diected. i used a little more milk than suggested, and used the heart-smart bisquick mix. instead of dropping the dough, i spread an even layer over the entire dish. i would suggest adding a little splenda/sugar and cinnamon to the dough, as it is a little bland, but it does even out the sweetness from the pie filling. will definitely make again!!

this was a quick and great dessert..i did use canned apples, mixed with cinnamon and nutmeg and stuck to the original recipe for the topping..in my first topping i used the 3/4 cup of milk and it came out like soup..the l/4 cup of milk came out just fine...i also added a small amt. of sugar, mixed with cinnamon and sprinkled it on the topping...
