We love dinner time nachos but I, too, use ground beef. When it's finished browning, I drain off the fat, add refried beans and about a 1/4 cup of salsa. Then finish them off like you do on round chips, shredded lettuce, olives, tomatos and shredded Mexican cheese. I put more salsa on the table for those who wish more. We call them Americanized Beef Nachos.

Great nachos with one little change. My family doesn't like beans, so I used fried hamburger. They enjoyed every mouthfull.
