My mom made this punch on a regular basis for church functions and other special occasions. She would make a single batch of the punch and freeze it in an ice ring and then double the recipe. By freezing some of the punch it did not go flat and stayed nice and cold. It's a great old standby.

This punch is quick, easy, and delicious. I buy the more commonly found 64-ounce bottle of cranberry juice, and then buy two cans of lemonade and four cans of ginger-ale for a double recipe that fits easily in a large punch bowl. Diet ginger-ale and "light" cranberry juice makes it pleasantly less sweet, too.
