Treat your family to a hearty fall breakfast anytime. They'll love the spicy, sweet hint of pumpkin in these waffles.

These are excellent! But I did change it a wee bit, without altering ingredients I did alter amounts as this is part of a waffle freezing project and I have found I can get three batches of waffles out of one box of bisquick, I didn't want to short any of the batches of mix. So I used 2 cups instead of 2 1/3, 1 egg instead of 2, 1 cup of buttermilk, 1/3 cup of pumpkin (so that the liquid equalled 1 1/3 cups), same amount of spice and 2 tbsp each of sugar and oil. Worked like a charm!

YUM! These are great. Just enough pumpkin and pumpkin spice to add a nice flavor but not so much that it is overpowering. I didn't make the syrup b/c I didn't have the ingredients. I used just plain maple syrup. I followed the recipe exactly and I would recommend doing just that. My husband loved them too. We had them tonight for dinner. I love breakfast for dinner!

Just made these waffles at my daughter's request. They were perfect with maple syrup and butter. My whole family loved them. Will definitely make this recipe again.

As is these waffles were a little bland. I definitely think they needed more pumpkin and a little more spice. I did not make the syrup. Worth a second try though with more pumpkin!

Very good! I reduced the amount of oil and added more pumpkin. Also added more pumpkin pie spice. I did not make the Maple Apple syrup or add nuts this time. But I think I will make a brown sugar, pecan sauce next time. Highly recommend!

Very yummy!! I just used regular maple syrup though. I also subsituted the 1/4 cup oil for more pumpkin and added some chopped candied pecans to the batter as well as on top. They had the perfect pumpkin flavor and very easy. Great Halloween breakfast in bed...will make again!

These were super! I like them even without syrup. Don't bother with adding the apple stuff to the syrup - didn't like that at all.

It's that time of the year again. We had these for dinner tonight and they have a delicious, genuine pumpkin pie flavor. I didn't have the frozen apple juice, so we just had regular maple syrup. Very good - and the pecans are a great touch! Thanks!
