These are wonderful, soft, and perfectly easy to make cookies. They smell heavenly baking and come out just right. My family and extended family thought these were the best autumn cookies. I did not make the browned butter frosting, but instead tried an orange glaze. It gave it a completely different flavor (more of a sweet spice cake flavor), and decided to just leave them without any frosting. They are very tasty without any thing extra.

Excellent cookies. I did add the spices recommended at the bottom of the recipe. Not very good frosting. Too sweet. I added 4 oz of cream cheese - much better frosting that way.

Just made these! This is the first time that I am satisfied with a frosted cookie! I enjoyed baking these. The cookies themselves are plain. The frosting gives them just the right amount of sweetness. I added double the cinnamon as done from a previous review along with 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg. I am also going to add 1/2 teaspoon of ginger next time.

Great cookie. The cookie by itself is a little plain but with the browned butter frosting it tastes wonderful. Very easy to make.

I made these cookies for the first time just this morning Thanksgiving Eve Day. They are easy to make and are very good. They are good with or without the frosting. I will be making them again.

These were delicious. I made some with and some without frosting because it is VERY sweet. I also added some ground ginger and cloves along with the cinnamon. Tasted great.

This has become a new family favorite. I didn't make the frosting, in that everyone just wanted a nice pumpkin spice cookie. The texture is perfect. I couldn't have found an easier recipe that tastes this good.

I only needed a frosting recipe. It was just right, delicious, light, smooth, & creamy. It only took me less than 5 minutes. Later I added different flavors of extract, it was the bomb.

Yum! These are so good. I love how they are more "cakey" than crunchy cookie. I followed the recipe almost exactly, only substituting whole wheat flour and adding a bit of pumpkin pie spice. They are so good! I was a little worried about burning the butter, but had no trouble - if you follow the directions and watch it carefully, it is a piece of cake! I also found the serving size to be exactly accurate. I wonder if these would freeze well? I am thinking about making a few batches in advance for Thanksgiving.

Loved these! They were a hit for this fall season:) Instead of the browned butter frosting I got whipped cream cheese and these are a hit we have already pretty much at them all so I will be making more this coming up weekend:)
