Love this recipe, printed a copy March 24, 2009 and make it still on a regular basis always multiply the recipe by four. I add peeled and cut pears and/or apples to the batter once poured into pans and let it bake all together and serve with real maple syrup. Because I add the fruit to the pan, I've added 1 T baking powder to my quad batch to give it a little lifting power and recently found baking it in a 9 x 13 pan, invert cut pieces onto a plate works wonderfully too.

make this all the time for dinner. It is my kids favorite dinner. I prefer to use a cast iron. I put them butter in the pan and put the pan in the oven. the Key is to get the pan HOT before pouring in the mixture.

Amazing. Try with brie. Added vanilla as per zigana's advice and had to keep myself from eating the whole thing. It's very tasty!

This says it is 4 servings, but my husband can eat an entire one by himself! I share a second one with the kids. They bake fine if you do two. We love topping it with powdered sugar and strawberries (sprinkled with sugar and resting while the pancake bakes) and eating it with maple syrup sausage on the side. Yummy!

This is my favorite breakfast!! I add cinnamon and sugar to butter and melt. Peel and thinly slice apples and put a thin layer into the melted butter mixture and bake as instructed. Mmmmmmm
