Sweet and salty flavors combine in a four-ingredient recipe. The dipped pretzels are so pretty and delicious!

RE Fruutcake: Maybe the coating was overheated or the shortening was over measured or some water got into the coating during melting making it thinner or losing its coating properties. Using a fork or fondue fork for dipping and tapping excess off the pretzel should help with the coating process too.

I gave these a 3 because the kids loved them, however I found them difficult to make. I know that sounds crazy because look how easy they sound. But, I couldn't get the melted coating to stick to the pretzels, it kept dripping off and making a mess. Managed to do it, but it was frustrating. Maybe a caramel would work better than the coating??
