Absolute BEST peanut butter cookie recipe EVER!! Both easy and fun to make ... it is a MUST try! (used all margarine instead of shortening and rolled the entire ball of cookie dough in sugar before pressing with fork and baking - cookies were moist and soft)

I went to my BC cookbook but page 145 was missing. How was I to make our favorite pb cookies. I looked thru all the loose pages but it is gone. Now I have another copy from this site, I can hardly wait til they are done. With some choclate milk or cocoa Heavenly

Tried these cookies tonight and they were great. The recipe was simple and easy, I added peanut butter chips to half the dough and chocolate chips as well as peanut butter chips to the other half. Best I have ever had. My search for the perfect peanut butter cookie recipe is over. No need to look any further!!!

I made these years ago when my kids were little. Now that my granddaughter is here I wanted to do these with her but the recipe sounded different. I did not remember having to wait 2 hours so I dug out my trusty BC cookbook and it had changed. Omit the shortening, double the butter and add ½ tsp of vanilla. No waiting just form into balls and cook as directed. So if you don't want the wait time go ahead these are fantastic.

I love these cookies! Try making 3 1/2in balls and putting them. Into a muffin cup, they come out in little clovers. I also like to make little waffers and top them with colored sugar (they only take 7mins to cook at 375). These cookies are great! The ulitmate chocolate chip cookies are really good to. For these, I do add vannila.
