pouch (1 lb 1.5 oz) Betty Crocker® peanut butter cookie mix

tablespoons vegetable oil

tablespoon water

egg

cup chocolate chips
1
cup butterscotch chips
  • 1 Heat oven to 350°F. Spray bottom of 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray.
  • 2 In large bowl, stir cookie mix, oil, water and egg until soft dough forms. Press into pan. Bake 15 to 18 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Cool 10 minutes.
  • 3 In small microwavable bowl, microwave chocolate chips and butterscotch chips on High 1 to 1 1/2 minutes or until melted. Spread evenly over base. Refrigerate 30 minutes or until set. For bars, cut into 9 rows by 4 rows.

Expert Tips

Chocolate lovers can add an extra cup of chocolate chips instead of using the butterscotch chips.

Sprinkle melted chips with candy sprinkles for a festive holiday cookie bar.

I love peanut butter cookies but I get tired of the same old same so I tried this recipe last night and man it was soooo good. I took some to my co-workers and they loved it too. I love recipes that doesn't take alot of time to put together. Thanks Betty Crocker your awesome... :)

Great tasting dessert for my family and me. The dessert didn't last for a good one hour. This recipe is so much easier to make than the ones I had made in the past.

These are the easiest dessert to make and they are simply delicious......you can use any chocolate in the house. I made these last night and only had 8 hershey kisses, 5 dark chocolate snack size bars and a handful of white chocolate kisses in the house so I made do, I microwaved them, stirred it up and it was fantastic.....sent them to school and everyone wants the recipe........
