This stir-fry is the best of both worlds: simple and flavorful. Seasoned with orange, ginger and garlic, it’s delicious!

I tried this recipe twice: the first as written and the second, I doubled the amount of orange juice to try and get more juice and flavor. I used tropicana OJ and I don't know if anyone else has tried that, but it just didn't seem to have enough flavor.

We found that the dish didn't have enough juice. The next time I would double the amount of OJ so it would flavor the rice more.

Orange Stir-Fried Chicken is quick to prepare, but a little too heavy on the ginger. I reduced the amount of ginger, substituted the white rice for high-fiber brown rice, and the dish still tasted great!

Although its a tad bit bland, you can fix that by changing the amount of spices you put in it. I think its a nice, soft dinner that isnt overfilling. YOu will walk away satisfied and feeling healthy.

This was pretty much my first stir-fry dish that didn''t come out of a bag. I didn''t have any gingerroot so I did use the ground ginger. I use freeze dried garlic instead of fresh. the orange juice was diluted 1/2 with water. But I did use a fresh orange( I just couldn''t squeeze out all the juice) I used jarred mushrooms instead of fresh. When mixing the maranade, I prayed that I would have it right, and after getting it done it smelled wonderful. Instead of rice, I used chow mein noodles( the kind you have to boil)When plated it looked pleasing, but the noodles turned out too dry. I added some more soy sauce to them and that made it smoother. Over all, for my first try it was "Ok" but with a little practice and trying this, or trying that, I''m sure this reciepe with turn out great. But remember, all good cooks say that using "fresh ingredents" makes the difference.
