They were good but I thought the frosting was to grainy. Next time I will try less brown sugar.

I made these brownies 3 weeks in a row, once for us to try, once for a family reunion and also for a church picnic. My husband said they were the best brownies he had ever eaten. Received many compliments and requests for the recipe. Making them again tomorrow for a party.

I tried this recipe last night and it turned out absolutely wonderful. I followed the instructions exactly as written, no deviations. This was a test run for me. Next time I will probably add only a little more pecans. Everyone that tasted these, loved them and will be trying the recipe this weekend

Delicious! I have made these numerous times. Can be cut in small squares if too rich. I usually use a fudgy box brownie mix and I always undercook by a few minutes to eliminate the brownies from being too dry. Many of my friends have asked for this recipe and have gotten lots of compliments on them too. Followed the recipe exactly, no salt, didn't notice.

I made these for a party and they were amazing. I make a lot of different brownie squares as recipes but this one tops the charts. The topping is such a nice twist of flavor and not to over powering so that the two blend well. This will definately be a keeper and I'm usually pretty picky about what goes into my personal cook book.

I made these for a party and everyone loved them. They all asked for the recipe. I added 1/4 tsp. of salt since there was no amount listed under ingredients. Have already made again for Bosses' Day. I love them!

Killer good...very sweet though. I love Penuche and this is so like that. I actually liked it better on days 2 and 3. It is like it melded the flavors. It kept very well and the brownie stayed fresh. I did not use nuts in the brownie but definately use them in the topping! Use extra!
