This was so easy to make and the texture as well as the taste was exceptionally good. I did have to pat them down a bit on the cookie sheet so they were not so thick, however this was a personal preference and does not reflect on the recipe itself. I made these with my mother (83) and we both enjoyed the time and taste.

Excellent cookie. My husband rarely eats cookies and he just ate 6 of them. Good flavor, very moist. I will save this recipe and make it often!

This is a very interesting recipe using sour cream. This was not what I was looking for, for molasses cookies, but it was still good. Yummy :)

I love molasis and ginger, so i thought this recipe would be amazing. The cookie ended up tasting a lot like a cake and wasn''t sweet enough. It never flattened out and I was disappointed.

My husband loves these so much that he insists I make them for his mother the next time we visit her. Now *that''s* success!

Oh My GOODNESS!!! These cookies are soooo amazing!!! I got the same recipe out of Betty''s Redbook, but they had an icing recipe to go on top of it too, the cookies with the icing are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I will definitely make these again!
