@tanam214 Try swaping out the bacon and sugar to reduce the sodium, fat, and calorie content. I always use Butterball low sodium turkey bacon which is delish! Also, try all natural no calorie sweetner like Truvia. Splenda blends also works but isn't natural. I plan on making the healthier version for my fiance and I on Valentines day. We are making a few nibblers for our romantic movie marathon. :)

I have to be honest with you, the first time I had made this recipe I was not even willing to try it myself, because I'm not a big fan of bacon. But after getting remarks of how delicious they were from 40 other people that were at the card party that I was at, I just had to try them, and I found that they were delicious and then some. I enjoyed the sauce so much that I had to try it on chicken wings,and it's awesome on it. Now, every card party,cookout or just a family get together I am asked to make this recipe, and I don't mind doing it.
