Mini Apple Pies
Blogger Sarah W. Caron from Sarah's Cucina Bella shares a recipe. These adorable miniature apple pies are perfect for lunchboxes, dessert trays and surprise treats. Best of all, they can be made in about 30 minutes total!

I made 80 of these for a luncheon at my husband's office. They were GREAT! I did not get 10 out of one pie crust though. I used small leaf cookie cutters on the extra dough to dress up the tops of them. We drizzled carmel sauce over the top to make them yummier! Be sure and fill full with the apples, as they do "settle" as they bake. Will TOTALLY make again!!! Yum!

I used large sized muffin cups and made 6 pies. Next time I will use a bit more sugar, maybe brown sugar, and some nutmeg. Easy, but looks very impressive!!

Young Grandsons loved these. I didn't have time to make a pie crust or buy refrigerated crust so I used wonton wraps that I already had in each muffin cup and added the other ingredients and put the whipped cream on top. The crust was crunchy but they really liked them. I will try with pie crust next time!

This recipe was easy to make but I thought that it was very bland in taste. I would've liked for it to have been a little sweeter. I did have some leftover crust and just used a small cookie cutter to put different shapes on top.

Super easy and fun to make! Nice size if you're trying to watch your portions. I actually got 12 mini apple pies from this recipe with plenty of crust leftover for a cute star on top of each. Tasted like delicious apple pie!
