I LOVED these! I do wish I would've read the previous comments before I made them. Definitely would've used smaller or ground nuts and added more spices for flavor. I didn't think they were overly dry and the texture was impressive. My meat-eating, protein lovin' husband loved them, but my son didn't appreciate the 'crunch' from the pecans. I'm a vegetarian and will use this recipe for my family and for company!

These sounded really good and I think would probably have worked with the original Potato Buds. Unfortunately, using Betty Crocker's new version gave the meatballs a funny smell and taste, and a very gummy consistency.

I make these "meatballs" for every holiday party and they are always a hit. For options, try serving them as an appetizer with dipping sauces such as sweet & Sour and BBQ sauce, your guests will love them!

I am a vegetarian and I loved these! In addition to the other ingredients, I added a touch of oregano. I also used a 4 cheese blend instead of just the one called for. I chopped the pecans in the blender which seemed to work out well. I baked them in the oven as the recipe says and then placed them in my sauce, they were not at all dry, before or after the sauce. ( I couldn't resist and had to eat one right out of the oven) I will definitely make these again. 5 Stars!!

While these were good to try, I will not be making them again. They had a weird flavor to them (I chopped the nuts) and were very dry while smothered in sauce. They didn't appeal to our tastes, but they might appeal to yours. Definitely a dish worth trying at least once.

I followed the suggestion from previous reviews that using ground nuts was better than chopped but these were so dry they were a big disappointment! Even puttingg tomato sauce on them didn''t help. The next day, after warming them in the microwave, they were just too dry to eat and I ended up feeding them to my dog!

I loved these. I used ground walnuts instead.. and i thought these were so much better than the meatless meatballs i buy at the store. Even my meat eater boyfriend enjoyed them!

This tastes just like real meatballs. My husband was surprised to find out they didn''t have meat. I used ground walnuts instead of chopped.

We Liked these, I will however the next time, crush the pecans, and I think put everything in the processor before making into balls. I added garlic powder and some beef granule boullion the mushroom gravy was needed to moisten. Will try again but definately crush the Nuts instead of chopped like the recipe says.
