This was so good and the hubby loved it too. He doesn't eat leftovers but he ate this! Any of the Au Gratin or Scalloped potatoes work. I mixed 1 box of creamy cheddar and 1 box original. Definatley making again.

I am sorry to say I am not liking any of the boxed potatoes recipes I have tried 2 of them...this one and the Fremch Onion one. They are too salty. Even without adding any salt at all. Plus they just have that boxed taste. Not at all like real potatoes. I soo wanted to like because of the ease in preparing! The added ingredients sound excellent, but it just wasn't what I expected at all. Darn. I will not prepare any box potatoes again. Just the real ones!

I tried this recipe for Thanksgiving and it got rave reviews. Everyone thought I made these from scratch. Very delicious and creamy. I had to add a little time to the baking to get the potatoes nice and tender. This is going to be a Thanksgiving tradition from now on.
