Was very tasty and the whole family enjoyed it. I added some cut up spiral ham to it and it added some great flavor!

This was a big hit at my family dinner..It was served with the zesty italian chicken and it went well together. Since the salmonella outbreak I used sundried tomatoes instead of fresh tomatoes none the less it was delicious! Thanks Betty! Tenithe -Memphis, TN

This recipe is wonderful!!! It is a keeper. I used one (1)tablespoon of dried basil instead of two (2) tablespoons fresh.

This is hearty and absolutely perfect for a chilly night with rain outside. Add a small side salad and you''ve got the perfect dinner. Substitutions I made:You can use crushed salad croutons instead of the bread crumbs, its even crunchier, and provides a nice texture difference. You don''t necessarily need a 2 quart casserole for this, any oven safe pot/pan that is large enough, with a cover, should do the trick. I also added some crushed red pepper flakes and fresh black pepper into the sauce before adding to the pasta for the necessary kick. It works beautifully and gives it the requisite spiciness for people like me :).

This is great! It is very cheesy and filling even though it does not have meat. Next time I am going to try adding chicken. I took this to a cooking party and everyone loved it! It is easy and cheap to make. One of the best meals I have made from betty crocker, which is many:)

I love this recipe! It''s extremely easy to make and very filling. However, I always substitute the tomatoes with broccoli florets. It can work with dried basil leaves as well, but the fresh basil definitely gives it more flavor.
